ARTICLE 3

POWERS OF THE ASSOCIATION
The Association may make such bye-laws, standing orders or other rules as may be deemed necessary for the management of the affairs of the Association including the determination of the qualifications, classification, admission and discipline by whatever manner including suspension and expulsion of members and directives to its officers and members, amendment or repeal of all or parts of this Constitution, bye-laws, standing orders and other rules in accordance with the provisions set out in this Constitution or where no provisions exist, in accordance with decisions determined by two thirds vote of its members at a properly constituted Delegates' Meeting; acquisition of any right or privilege necessary or consistent with the purposes of the Association and publish regularly or periodically relevant materials or disseminate information
necessary for its purposes.
The Association may receive, acquire, accept and hold real and personal property by gifts or purchase, lease or otherwise acquire for the purposes of the Association and may sell, lease, invest or otherwise dispose thereof in such a manner that may be deemed expedient for such purposes.
No member or officer of the Association shall merely by reason of such membership, be or become
personally liable for any of its debts and obligations.
